How do minutes work?

Every meditation you create uses minutes from your balance. A 5-minute meditation costs 5 minutes. Your remaining balance is always visible in the app.

What do I get for free?

Every new account starts with 10 free minutes - no card required. That's enough for a few sessions to see if Solace is right for you.

What happens when I run out of minutes?

You can still replay your 3 most recent sessions. To create new meditations, upgrade to a plan or add a minute top-up from your account page.

Is every session really unique?

Yes. Every script is generated in the moment based on how you feel. Even with the same settings, you'll get a different meditation each time.

Why can't I replay an older session?

Audio is stored locally in your browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, older audio may no longer be available. Your 3 most recent sessions are always kept.

My session won't load or play - what should I do?

Try refreshing the page or switching to a different browser. If the issue persists, clearing your browser cache usually resolves it. Safari and Chrome work best.

How do I change my plan?

Go to your account page and choose a different plan. The switch takes effect at your next billing date, and you keep your current plan until then.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account page whenever you like. You keep access through the end of your billing period - no partial-month charges.

Do unused minutes roll over?

Plan minutes reset each billing cycle and don't roll over. If you need extra minutes that never expire, you can purchase a top-up pack from your account page.

When do my minutes reset?

Monthly plans reset on your billing date each month. Annual plans also reset monthly on the same calendar day you subscribed.

How do top-ups work?

Top-ups add 30 minutes for a one-time $5 payment. Those minutes never expire and are used after your plan minutes run out.

What data does Solace collect?

We store your account info, session metadata (duration, theme, script text), billing details, and audio files. See our privacy policy for full details.

What if I'm going through a difficult time?

Solace is a wellness tool, not a substitute for professional care. If you're in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988), the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741), or your local emergency services. If you enter something that suggests you may be in distress, Solace will show crisis resources instead of generating a meditation.

Plan minutes reset on your billing date, not the first of the month. Annual plans also reset monthly. Check your account page for the exact date.

Payment issue

You can update your card or manage billing directly from your account page. Changes take effect immediately.

Audio sounds distorted

Make sure your device volume is at a comfortable level and try using headphones. If the issue continues, try generating a new session.
